Once you mentioned resistor I rechecked the Bentley schematics. I found the fan set up of my 90 was listed on the Digifant 86-89, 450 watt radiator fan scheme. Now, that makes sense. I do recall seeing some decrepit large resistors behind the head light bracket during my light upgrade. I'll give it a try. --At least I wont be lying on that protruding tab on the spare tire retaining cover.
