Subject: Fuel rail spewing gas

Hey folks,

Today I replaced the lame Tiico fuel rail with the A2 setup sold by Vanagain/Ken Wilford. His instructions were a tad light, but I followed Matthew P's instructions and it went well enough.

All parts went in, and as I was warned the throttle body was laying against the fuel rail. I bolted it down anyway, and it wasn't easy. When I fired up the engine, it whipped to life and was doing great. I went back to see how it was doing and found gas spewing out of the rear most injector/rail interface. Oh great.

I tried to loosen the bolts to the throttle body and let it move a little, but to no avail. It is still spewing gas. I can't work on it until friday, so if anyone has had this problem or has any ideas for a solution please write back. I will pull it off and look at the seals, and see what else is going on. Meanwhile, I will spend all day tomorrow screaming and pounding my head on the wall.
