Subject: Back from Boston Marathon with a Vanagon question
Content-Type: text/plain

Just got back from the Boston Marathon the other night. I did horribly in the race and had to deal with a back injury for the final 14 miles but I did finish. The Westy did much better than I did and performed flawlessly except for one relatively minor issue. A few times when I started her up the oil light and buzzer came on (At least I think it's the oil light - maybe it's a picture of a water can. It's the middle light on the right side of the group of six lights on the dash). The light/buzzer would go on for a few minutes and then go off and that would be it until I started the van again the next time. All fluids were fine. Is this just another one of those whacky Vanagon things or is it something to worry about?
