I don't know how you can flatter yourself like this. If you've got extra keys just use them and keep on driving your Vanagon. A good 99.99% of the world has no need, desire, knowledge of Vanagons and Westy. The chances of anybody stealing a conspicuous vehicle like a Vanagon are very slim. If you must change your lock set ............. catch a matching set on E bay for 60$ or so. We all know that if a thief wants your car he'll get it even if he uses a drag-on wrecker to get it. I've had thieves that tried to steal cars off my driveway and if they can't steal the car they just break $600.00 worth of glass before they leave. Two cars were stolen and recovered, one within 72 hours the other right at 30 days, several others just had the glass broken out and steering columns mutilated before they left very pissed. One guy took it upon himself to cut up the leather seats on my Eldorado with a razor knife before he left. Us simple minded jerks would just install a separate switch for the fuel pump ......... Radio Shaque here I come.
