Yes, good point Mike, Replacing cap and rotor is certainly a good idea in a case like this, although my tendency is to NOT replace them unless I think they need it. A good up-close and personal visual exam for carbon tracks, cracks, or corroded or worn terminals will show their condition. If the plug wires are bad, the cap and rotor may have carbon tracking on them from all the arcing. Check them closely, and if in doubt, replace!
