Yes, English is not entirely logical because it incorporates so many words
from other languages.  That also serves to make it the most expressive
language in the world.

I would never, ever, belittle a non-English speaker for poor phrasing or
other English faux pas.  Believe me, their English is much, much better than
my French, Italian, Spanish, or any other foreign language.

but writing messages all in lower case and without proper punctuation in the
style of e.e. cummings' archie the cockroach is an affectation that
expresses how kwel the author is in the modern style of instant
communication how with it they are in communicating with other peeps over
the internet, how busy and multitasking they are 'cause they don't even have
time to hit the shift key or hunt for the period or comma key and i for one
don't like it especially when they are asking for my help
