Hi Everyone, Let me give a little more back ground to see if that helps with the diagnosis. Tranny was swapped and has good clutch only has 7k on it didn't look worn replace throw out bearing. After driven for about a week the clutch would drop to the floor so pumping it up in between shifts I got it home. Now there is little or no free play when pushing down but the clutch only releases in about the top inch or inch and a half it just does not seem right my 80 would start grabbing about a 1/2 inch from the floor all the way up. Is there an adjustment to make the clutch grab lower? Where is it? Thanks Kevin 81 Vanagon Aircooled Stan How much for those rocks I think I'll need two dozen bags just in case :)
