3) While replacing the transaxle what else should be done? Here is my list. Clutch, rear seal, throw-out bearing. Anything else? CV joints need to be replace and this seems like a good time. --------------------- Clip -------------------- Your clutch kit will come with a pilot bearing. You should replace the starter bushing in your bell housing ($1.00) Your tranny symptoms sound like the famous 3/4 slider has a fracture or the synchronizer ring has broken. In either case it's repairable. You might not need a complete rebuild .............. shop around.
