Hey Larry.

Those are Bosch part numbers. I've done the conversion on my Lotus Esprit Turbo... Many TurboEsprit listmembers have done this. And, with all the complaining on this list about poor grounds in the Vanagon, I'm surprised I haven't seen people recommending a 4-wire sensor. I plan to do this when I need to on my GL.

I would go with the cheapest 4-wire Bosch sensor you can find, just make sure the leads are long enough. The only difference other than price between the applications is different lead lengths and connectors on the end (which you'll clip off anyway). I have to imagine that the greater the production quantity, the lower the price, so it's no surprise the ones I found are from Chryslers.
