Hi Bill

We're putting a Tiico in our 87 Westy next week. The corrosion on the engine is so bad, that between it, the knocking up the mountain passes <BANG BANG>, and the oil buzzer <BZZZZ!> ....we'd had enough!

We've heard of a lot of fuel rail issues, since the jetta engine wasn't designed for vanagon injectors, and decided to go with a complete new Jetta fuel rail with jetta injectors and a new pressure regulator from VanAgain. http://vanagain.com/

We've printed off all the tiico instructions, as well as photos... and feel like we're just about ready. We ordered the OBDTool for initial setup, now we just need to find a timing light with a dial advance on it. The carport is cleaned, the tiico should be delivered on Tuesday. We'll start tear out tomarrow. It's so exciting!

Any words of wisdom or some "watch out for...." that you can or other list members can think of?

Thanks!
