Maybe simpleton is apt.  If Ken had used more than one eye to read my posting
he would know that the only reason I did not buy the 13931 as specified in
the current Bosch applications book, was because my parts guy did not have
one in stock.  But he has ordered the correct one for me which will be here
tomorrow morning for a grand total of $95.  I certainly don't have a problem
with that.

As I've been telling you people, search out a VW specialist in you area.
Nearly every town has one which has been in business for 30 years.  Get to
know the owner and buy your stuff from him.  If your good to him, he'll treat
you right and you won't be spending more money waiting long periods of time
for some unknown quantity to arrive in the big brown truck.  More
importantly, should there be a problem, you can get it resolved immediately.
You already know that the Bosch 13931 OXS is costing me $95, as a further
example, here are the TOTAL cost of some parts which I recently purchased:

Set of 3 fan belts, Contitech (Made in Germany) - $18.00
Clutch master and slave cylinders, FAG (made in Germany) - $39.00/cylinder
Heavy duty Sachs hatch strut - $15.00
Syncro front wheel bearings, FAG (again, MADE IN GERMANY) - $63.00/brg.

. . . and the list goes on.

Believe me, seek and ye shall find.
