Subject: MAX spark adv. for 2.1 L engine

Does anyone know what the Maximum spark advance is for a 2.1 liter vanagon engine (for example, at highway speeds)? I am trying to set the timing for a 009 distributor (and a Weber carb) and seemingly I need to know what the Maximum spark advance is on the stock vanagon Fuel Injected engine.

If you know this, please pass it on to me. Just for the record, I am NOT interested is what the idle timing mark should be (5 or 7 degrees BTDC) but rather when the engine is running at highway speeds, what is the TOTAL advance (in degrees). Thanks. Malcolm
