I am facing the same problem with my '85 four speed.  It gets stuck in 3rd
gear at highway speed.  When I come to a stop and let engage the clutch with
the brake on, it shifts easily out of 3rd, but then gets stuck again when
I'm back at highway speed.

Assuming i need a transaxle rebuild, can folks please recommend a few
reliable rebuilders who I might possibly work with?
