I'm needing to replace my fuel filter too so I'd like to know what others have done. Currently the van ('81 gas) is using the original filter! The only one my FLAPs had is cylindrical and both the inlet and outlet are the same size. I noticed yesterday that the OG (original gangster :)) filter has one end larger than the other.

Do most spring for the OEM replacement or rig something up to make an after market one fit?
