Subject: Re: The King's English

I am the language CORRUPTOR! (This is for my friend Derek from Minnesota) http://www.eurokitplane.com/baja/calif006.JPG

Well, in Mexico i felt right at home. I tried to learn a few words in their beautiful language; Hielo ("ice", because I don't have a fridge like I had in my defunct 87 Westy, I had to find ice everyday...) , Cervesa (well, don't ask, I was in vacation after all), la Quanta (The bill, a bit long to come), la Drugas...(oupssss) No dug, just A JOKKKKKE, I don't smoke a nice joint on the beach when am on vacation and NOT driving after! With my stupid 1973 bus that pissed me off all my trip...........God i miss my Vanagon, so spacious, handy, practical, well design! Oh my love, where are you now!!! With your 95HP turbo charge flat-4 engine. Compare to my 20HP ( http://www.desert2002.com/heads.htm ) I had left, any 2.1L in good shape is a monster power engine. Don't worry, I will have my revenge! I have a nice 2.0L (+ a few more cc, lets say 2200) in construction, when am finish with this one, I should have a good and SAFE running120HP Air cooled engine. Better late than never, or is it better soon than to late, or is it... dam? English. (And a very nice 89 Westy coming soon)

But, yes, my spoken Spanish suck, but! I can read and understand most of everything they say, I did learn the basic polite stuff before I went there, I think it's just the minimum anyone should do before visiting any other country. Carolyn (my girl) speak fluent Spanish (that was a good help), she is also perfectly bilingual (English /French), she is getting pretty good in Italian too. I have a lot of respect for those who do speak multiple languages; I am very impress by her ability to lean other language so fast!

I loved all my stupid (Joke again!!!) English neighbors, all were more than nice, everywhere and anytime in any state I went. I only have praise for my US neighbor. I've heard a lot of: Haaaa those %$/?/? American!!!! From Canadian, European and other folks from other country in my trip. Well, I simply told them to stop being Jealous or envious! People are people, in any country; there is good folk and more stupid one, anywhere and everywhere. I don't necessarily agree with everything the US government does, but I don't judge every American for the act of their government (I don't even agree with mine). It's a free word! This is what America is about, we have the right to say what ever we want. We have the right to protect this very fragile freedom of speech.

What the hell am I talking about now, sorry!

Buy you a westy, a bus or any other nice cool non polluting (look who's talking) means of travel, see the world, meet people, have fun, life is short. Be nice! (HAPPY FACE HERE) and people will be nice with you!

Best regards, Ben (The language "CORRUPTOR") http://pages.infinit.net/eurokit/
