It certainly is a nice looking rack, but how much weight can the ladder handle?

I've been toying with the idea of a roof rack (for a kayak), and a ladder would (obviously) make it easier to load/unload it.

I worry about hanging my petite 250lbs from the rear hatch hardware. :-/
