The speedometer in my '87 Syncro has never worked. Since I am starting a spring restoration project, one of the things I'd like to do is get it going again. Trouble is, the cables and speedometer are OK; the output on the differential itself isn't turning. Is there any way, such as there is in regular transaxles, to repair it without removing the diff and/or taking it to a legitimate repair shop? Any advice would be most appreciated! ian Butler / ian@bluemoon.hplx.net '88 Scirocco 16v, '87 Syncro GL |
