The factory (VW/Westfalia) wiring for the aux battery setup in my Camper uses a small (30A?) relay that connects the batteries in parallel with a 10-awg wire only when the engine is running. I use this 'bigass wire' to connect them for starting purposes. <http://home.earthlink.net/~tjhannink/photos/jumper_Cable.jpg>
Of course, since my Camper didn't come with swiveling front seats, getting to both batteries is relatively easy. ===== TJ Hannink Goldibox - 1987 Vanagon Camper, Wolfsburg Edition Winter Park, Florida http://home.earthlink.net/~tjhannink/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wolfsburg_campers http://photos.yahoo.com/tjhannink [Vanagon] Album __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
