Congratulations guys! I think everybody got that one right except Bob Stevens, I dropped off to sleep reading his reply, so I'm not quite sure. Rather than let this thing die ............... every time I've had the 3/4 Lever dash control out, I've found a cable or two that was deformed, bent or out of the clamp. It is something that will need repair even if you get the water valve under temporary control. Don't freak out Alan the whole assembly can be investigated from the front side of the dash (disconnect your battery) and you can see the fault down through the ash tray hole.
