I have a 2.1L WBX engine that was pulled and replaced with a Boston Engine 2.1 rebuild from my '87 Weekender. The van is sold and I have no need for a 2.1 any more. The engine was running when it was pulled at 208K miles. Head gaskets were leaking, but it was drivable. Compression on #3 cylinder was low, so it's a good candidate for a rebuild. $200 takes it, FOB my driveway (off I-64 between Charleston and Huntington, WV). I may even deliver to certain areas (e.g. Pittsburgh where my parents live). I'd rather not ship this beast, but I do have a UPS account and can look into it. -Karl Karl & Kristina Bloss - Hurricane, WV '85 Westfalia Camper "Fred" '93 Eurovan MV "Amelie" WV VW Club: http://WVVW.ORG "Bound to cover just a little more ground..." |
