Open to Offers. cannot ship. chris s.e. PA -------------------------------------------- You are tempting me... again! Somebody here has a nice plain transporter with only 95000Km. I know, there is only a 5 digit odometer on Transporters, but he is the original owner. He wouldn't lie to himself.

If anyone is interested in doing the transplant. I can give the big lines of the work. A friend bodyshop did mine in a very professionnal way. If you look on my metal roof, you just can't tell it was not an original camper. It's THAT good. And NO there is almost no filler. Spot welds every 1/4 inch at least (at the end of welding, not shown on pictures at that moment). An estimate of 40-50 hours job.

Here is my original message with a link to a web site...

Hi volks

There is some pictures of my pop-top transplant project on a friends web site in Belgium (I am from Montreal, Qc, Canada). He is interested in doing the same thing on his syncro.

We are members of a french canadian westfalia club: www.mononc-en-folie.com . That's where we exchanged our "ideas" and he was interested in having those pictures on his web site. It is in french, but i think that the pictures speak for themselves. So here is the link:

http://www.westfalia.be.tf/

then you go on the menu and under the title "Le projet" you clic on "Quoi? Comment?" and you will see a grey vanagon with a hole on its roof...

Anyway, if anybody is interested in having those pictures, i can send them to you (7 e-mails of about 1000K)" I know there was people looking for this kind of information, specially the pictures. If other people wants to put these pictures on theyr web site, no problem. I just want this info to be available to anybody cause I dont have a web site to host this.

Ciao!
