Subject: Source for Propane Tank Fill Valve?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

The propane tank on my '84 Westy does not want to accept a fill. The local propane guy says it's the fill valve but just shrugs when asked where I can get a new valve.

I see that GoWesty has new tanks for $289.95 that include the fill valve

and regulator, but they don't seem to carry just the fill valve. Similarly, Bus Depot lists a tank with fill valve for $219.95 but nothing in their catalog about just a fill valve.

As I'm just coming off the expense of a new exhaust system I'm not really in the mood to spend another 2 to 3 hundred at the moment.

Does anyone know of a source for just the fill valve? Or is it somehow fixable?

Thanks! Rod.
