For an '81 your point is well taken, but KBB for a '91 Westy in good condition in NW Ohio is over $10K - which in reality someone will be lucky to get. Once Cars get much older than that they either lose value pretty quick around here due to salt - or thebecome collectable and you have to hope that you have a buyer that understands their value. Any rate - it is just a starting point, or a data point, depending on your perspective.
