Thanks to the folks who replied to me about someone to work with rebuilding
my transaxle.  The recommendations I have so far include:

Weddle Engineering, Goleta, CA

AA Transaxle, Seattle, WA

German Transaxle, Bend, OR

Rancho Performance, Anaheim, CA

Can someone kindly offer experiences with these various shops?
