Subject: Power/Fuel pump problem
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hello all

Well for those of you who remember my problem back in the winter i have started just today to start lookin for the problem. I have found that there is no power goin to the fuel pump relay system, checked all the fuses and relays under the dash as well as the fuel pump relays all check out good, fuel pump is good, but no fuel pump action on key, there is a spark the coil is running right and all .. I have been studyin the wiring diragram .. but does anyone have any ideas as to what to check and look for ..

to re-cap what happend :)

I was boosting a dead battery with my Van (84, 1.9 Vanagon) as i was cracking the truck with the dead battery the van cut dead, I had a 40 amp fuse linked in with the positive lead wire and it was blowen, thats what happend. ... and i get smoke from the dash looks like one resistor is heating up ..

any ideas would be most helpful
