The engine prices can vary.
If its a 1700 you're looking at about $2000.00 for a first class engine
installed.
If you upgrade to 2000 cc you're looking at exhaust and other
modifications that can run the price up to $2800.00 installed. (You'll
need a core engine)
Do everything yourself on the 1700 cc with new heads for about $1400.00
parts / machine shop services only.
If it is a very nice camper (no rust, perfect OEM paint, good canvas,
good upholstery etc. etc..) it would possibly be worth as much as
$4500.00 with a new engine.
My figures might be off some but that is my opinion.
