I really hope that is your problem, since the solution will be a no cost solution. The tube makes a 90 deg. turn at the bottom, and there you will find a nut, about 15/16 or 23 mm. You need an open end wrench, or a 12" crescent wrench (one size fits all!) and you need to tighten that nut until you don't have any more leaks. I the pan is leaking, then you need a big mouth container to catch the fluid. Remove the 4 bolts with a 13mm box wrench or socket/ratchet, drop all the fluid and replace the gasket. Since you 've gone that far, rreplace the filter screen and replace it with a new unit from any Napa or Kragen auto parts, and you will be on your way. Good luck and I hope my advice helped you .
