Subject: Syncro speedometer output repair?
Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII

The speedometer in my '87 Syncro has never worked. Since I am starting a spring restoration project, one of the things I'd like to do is get it going again. Trouble is, the cables and speedometer are OK; the output on the differential itself isn't turning. Is there any way, such as there is in regular transaxles, to repair it without removing the diff and/or taking it to a legitimate repair shop?

Any advice would be most appreciated!
