We own a 95 Eurovan Camper (since 1998) and I will vouch for it.

The good: The 95 is the last year with the 5 cylinder. The following years have the 6 cylinder, about 6 mpg less out of that engine. We get 20-24 mpg in the mtns with the AC on. The 95 also seemed to have the automatic transmission issues worked out from 93-94 models. The engine has been bulletproof... no problems with it at all in 97000 miles. The transmission has also been great. All the camping gear works great.

The bad: I had to replace the pop-top due to a symmetrical crack across the entire thing... 1700 bucks from Winnebago. They refused to help out warranty wise as I thought it was manufacturer defect. Tires are almost impossible to find for it. You can find the proper tire but it always has to be ordered. I have had re-occurring problems with the AC, leak somewhere that is hard to trace. Also it is not adequate enough but suffices (I live in Phoenix so my opinion is skewed a little). It is slightly underpowered but never drops below 45 mph on the biggest of grades.

All in all if you want a camper (and it doesn't have to be a Vanagon model) I highly recommend the 1995 Eurovan Camper.
