I have two cracked headlights that still operate, but must replace them to pass state inspection. I found a vanagon in a junkyard, but I can't figure out how to get them off ! I got the grill off easy enough. I've changed many old round headlights on old cars, where you unscrew a metal ring and take it off the front of the bulb. These vanagon bulbs seem to have a metal frame attached to it, but the screws look to me like adjustment screws. Am I missing something obvious ? I looked in my Bentley and it shows the round bulbs's R&R to look just like what I'm used to. But it has nothing about the rectangular ones other than adjustment. It's gotta be staring me in the face. Please point it out to me. |
