<< Are the brown and the white caps for the cabinet screws still available from VW dealers ..... or elsewhere? >> Recently, while refinishing some interior pieces, I needed replacements for those little plastic arrow clips which hold the panels to the sliding-door interior and tailgate. Found such clips at my local TrueValue hardware store, and also stumbled upon the screw caps you mention, in black, white, and brown. Dunno if they're exactly the correct ones for the Westy, but they seemed to have a variety of sizes. Lots of other cool little widgets: thick rubber washers for mounting the fiberglass luggage rack to the roof, roll pins for the latch mechanism on the wing windows, various stainless steel fittings, grommets for passing electrical wires thru bodywork bulkheads, etc.. Good reasons to shop local -- when I ask for this kinda stuff at the Home Depot, all I get is dumb looks ...
