Greetings, volks: Since I already bought one of the Busdepot side tents (which mounts in the space that my awning would occupy) and since I really need $ at this point in time, I've recently made the painful decision to part with my A & E 2500 Catalina awning with "Adapter Lit" for mounting to gutter (without drilling holes, etc.). According to a discussion on awnings I'd read on the Westfalia.org site prior to my purchase, the consensus was that the A & E Catalina awning was the tried and true way to go for the Westfalia. Purchased from Camping World a couple years ago, the awning is tan-to-cream colored and 6' deep and 8'2" long awning; it's been stored indoors and used only on 3 brief outings. It is as close to "like new" condition as one can get and luckily I held onto the Camping World shipping materials, so I'm able to ship it safely myself. Camping World listed both the awning and adapter kit for 360+ not including shipping costs, so I figure $225 is a fair price and sufficient justification for letting it go. CW shipped the awning via Yellow Freight, but if UPS can handle the 9-ft. tube, they're also an option. Perhaps I could split the shipping costs with any of you interested buyers. Also, let me know if you'd like to see a photo of the awning, which I think I must have somewhere.
