ASI campers were made in vancouver WA. they were contracted thru a Washington state VW dealer called Riviera Motors - so the camper conversion was also sometimes called a Riviera camper. ASI stands for Automotive Services Inc. they were in business from the mid '70's to the mid '80's. they were known for their straight-up poptops, and ultra cheezy interior (lotsa fake wood and ugly polyester coverings - very '70's) you may be able to find more info in the archives. chris
