Volks,

After redoing the cylinder heads on my 84 Westy 1.9, it ran great for about 150 miles. This morning it started cutting out at a certain engine speed. I don't have a tach, but it seems to be cutting out at the same engine speed. I changed the airflow meter thinking that the bucking was caused by a bad spot on the airflow meter--no joy.

Now what do I do? Is this the terrible "Vanagon Syndrome?" If it is, is there a procedure for looking for the cause/causes of the problem?

TIA,

John Houser, Jr. Perry, GA 84 Westy
