Subject: wonderful service from german transaxle
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

A few weeks back, a fellow list member posted a question regarding the quality of transaxle rebuild from a variety of vendors, one of which was German Transaxle.

I posted a reply stating, essentially, "yeah mine works but it is grinding on the downshift to 3rd", but i qualified that i hadn't followed up with them to see what they have to say about it. Yesterday i did.

I received a call back today saying that the tranny number i gave them was pre-improved hub (now they are using weddle supplied parts), and even though i am out of warranty, they will replace and repair free of charge (shipping to them is the only thing i have to pick up)! I was not expecting this, much less even asking for it, so having that offer thrown out at me was a delightful surprise!

Now i just have to think if i want a little taller gear to go with the little bigger engine :-)

Point being - excellent customer service from German Transaxle in Bend, OR. http://dellepro.dellhost.com/gta/

Have a wonderful day, -Damon
