I just did this last weekend on my 90 Westy. I have a dual VDO oil pressure gauge so I knew the buzzing over 2000 rpm was a bad sender. The pressure was fine. I simply took the brown wire sender (harness side obviously) and grounded it on a tranny bolt. The annoying buzzing stopped. The high oil pressure sender is always grounded and it buzzes (and oil light flashes) when there is a problem. The low pressure sender is the opposite.
