My local distributor also charges $600 for a 30 lbs. bottle, 12 oz. cans go for $25 each.

I agree about R12 cooling better, I also think it starts cooling much quicker than R134.

Last time I bought a 30 lbs. bottle it cost me 600.00. So it seems there may be a bigger mark up depending where you live. 134 run at higher pressures, does not seem to cool as good, and seems to blow out seal faster because of high pressure. Good Evening, Fred
