It's really helpful if you can get a second person to handle the bleeder while you stand in back. When I did the coolant change on my diesel, when I first revved it up it was all I could do to keep it from sucking the expansion tank dry. It was literally pulling coolant into the system as fast as I could pour it from the jug. I'd done this myself before, running back and forth, and kinda/sorta gotten it to work, but with a helper it was *so* much quicker.
