and it *seems* to be a bit worse, but it may be that the synth is more "clingy" and therefore drips onto the ground less. Then there is the 'thing', your 20 year old engine could have a few dings in the sealing sufaces from several rebuilds and drips will just be part of your life. To get those freckles off your drive: I cup oil sorb or kitty litter (fresh) then pour a tea cup of standard gasoline on it. Sweep it up the next day ........... all done.
