Currently, i'm trying to get the case prepped, and my main problem right now is clearancing the 2.1 case for an 82mm CW crank. I've stolen some of my fiance's lipstick to see where it is hitting upon rotation, but i don't have a very good feel for how much to grind off? Do i need to mock up the end play shims, etc? Right now, it is hitting the #2 main bearing support rib. I know this isn't very common practice with wbxs, but any input on how to best go about this would be appreciated. Thanks, -Damon ===== '84 Westy (Sparky) '65 Kharma Ghia (Dharma) __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo. http://search.yahoo.com |
