I recently installed passenger seat from Subaru Legacy greatly helped by low cost of $20 at local PYP sale. Seat was in exellent shape but it took some work. Definitely WORTH IT. Not only it slides very smoothly and easily, but it reclines almost to horizontal position at a flip of the lever. Great when backseat is occupied and you want to take a nap. Had to remove all "extra" metal from seat, ground off tracks from turntable using B&D rotary tool and prybar. Drilled holes and used spacers to attach seat tracks to turntable. As soon as i installed seat my wife asked: "where are armrests?" Subaru seat didn't have those. This took one more trip to PYP and 2 brown armrests were removed from otherwise stripped Vanagon. This was harder than installing seat itself and required fabrication of metal brackets and attaching armrests. But in the end it all works well and seat is big improvement. Wish i could use one of those on a driver side but stove cabinet behind limits it's usefullness. Leon 85 Subwagen
