Mr. Jorge, First I would not have spent that money for tools you may not need. I would have bought one.

Impact driver.

This would taken them right out. Now it sounds as you need some heat to get the bolt loose, with vicegrip on the head of it when it is really hot.

Or cut head of bolt all the way off, take off CV, and then heat up flange to remove with vicegrip.

Good Afternoon, Fred

Subject: Inner CV joint Allen bolt... 3 days and $250 in tools later I'm one bolt away from removing the passenger side rear side. Let me re-phrase, this is the "proverbial" last bolt!! The bolt is now somewhere between 1/4 and 6.5mm in size and closer to sending me to the nut house! Any tricks short of C-4?? I'll probably end up buying new CVs but I will go thru the exercise at least to save my pride. Thanks, Jorge and the Angry Bolt '85 Weekender

Fred
