Mr. Blake, The mainshaft may be stuck in the pilot bearing. Pry more. Or move jacks so the two are the same. Good Evening,

Fred

E-mail message

My clutch went bad a few weeks ago and I'm finally getting around to it. Anyhow, I've got the engine and transmission disconnected, I've got the engine supported (by a chunk of wood and a chain in the engine compartment), I've got the transmission supported by a floor jack.   The engine and the tranny are separated by about 1/8", but I can't seem to get the tranny off the studs coming from the engine on the bottom. What gives? Any ideas would be great. Thanks, Blake
