One should never switch to synthetic oil during the life a of a motor that has been living on non synthetic. -------------------------- OK --------------------------- So since engines won't break in for 20,000 miles + on synthetics. (Very new 2001+ Engines excepted run 0-20 wt). One must run regular oils to break in an engine, then make a switch to synthetics. Changing to synthetics at later engine life is not going to cause anything to fail. Please Explain how better lubrication, cooler running, less heat friction is going to kill a motor. I like your story although its pure fiction. http://www.fernblatt.com/longhurst/engineoil_bible.html http://rconcepts.com/beard/dragnet/drag/oilinfo.html http://www.geocities.com/chrislonghurst/snakeoil.html http://rconcepts.com/beard/dragnet/drag/oilinfo.html Stan Wilder
