How come everything has to get nasty? Almost every JET engine runs on synthetics. My Brothers 77 Piper runs very well on synthetics. So you get a drip ............... rather have a drip than a dead engine. As if synthetic would make a big difference in an engine running 90% of capacity most of the time.
