Subject: Re: Westy friendly step stool

I picked up one of those plastic folding stools at Camping World and they are quite nice. Fold real flat and when assembled is pretty sturdy. I am using it to replace my RV stepladder that I bought to give me access to my roof rack for whatever I put up there - primarily giving some advantage to lashing surfboards down or when skiing access to my Thule (toy)box.

There was another listee who had some pics of a similar lift for the upper bunk they made, similar but more simplistic than this last posting has which looks pretty neat. I made one for about $15 with a dowel purchased at a local hardware store, painted grey and then affixed 2 metal drain covers for strength to the top for the "pad" which I put some traction tape on for slippage. Great idea from both these members!
