The BusLab in berkeley CA is a big proponent of this mod and has been doing this for a few years. There are a few other shops in various states that are doing similar things, too. I am currently building an engine using the larger pistons (and corresponding cylinders you purchase with them), but honestly don't have much (ahem... any) experience with engine building so i can't really say they look good or bad. My P&C set are on their way to boston bob for him to check them out and assess their quality among other things, so when i get feedback from him (the expert), i'll either ask him to post to the list about their quality or try to summarize it myself.

The manufacturer of them is: "A.A. Piston Co." and i believe they are made in taiwan. They only step up from 94mm to 95mm, so you don't get a huge bump in displacement (just about 50cc).

That's about all i know on that subject...
