Ok, now I'm confused! I just saw another T3 Transporter with a Vanagon badge here in Munich. Both were Westy "California" models, similar to the US campers, except there's no roof rack, and there's a small console around the shifter. So, did VW actually use the Vanagon name in Germany (maybe as a way to give special models that exotic American feel), of is it just very popular to switch badges? (Or, did I just happen to see the only two in Germany? Or the same one parked in two different places 10km apart?) Bill |
