I'd say that any cruise control that uses magnetic pickup on a CV for speed sensing should work. You'd also need a switch on the clutch to shut the CC off should the clutch be depressed while it's activated.

E-bay frequently has older (NOS or NIB) systems available. Equus, Zemco, ARA, Speedostat, and various Sears offerings are just some that I've seen there. I've also seen a number of Audiovox and Rostra units there, both of which are still available through retail outlets.
