Well I'm driving the van tonight, waiting for the gremlin to come back. Temp Sensor II does seem like a likely culprit but, the resistance has matched the chart every time I've tested it though. One time there was a bit of flutter on the reading, but I can't be sure it wasn't the rigged up connection between the alligator clips I put on it and the probes from my cheap little digi multimeter. (I see a lot of flutter every time I first touch something with the probes). If the sensor is busy _failing_, but not completely broken yet, would it create these random symptoms? If I switch out the sensor as fast as possible - i.e. with minimal coolant loss - would I have to burp any air bubbles out of the coolant system? (I've heard this is important when refilling the coolant). __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
